Hi everyone and welcome back to another episode!

Andertons is a store that I’ve shopped in since I was 12. They’re a great family run business based in Guildford who have built a reputation for being one of the UK’s leading music stores, with a phenomenal ecommerce business bolstering their physical store in Guildford.

In this episode I’m joined by Jack Cooper who until recently was Digital Marketing Manager at Andertons and just this week moved to Roland Boss, stepping into the Global Digital Marketing Lead role there. Congrats on the new role Jack!

We’d planned to talk about Jack’s experience at Andertons and how they’ve seen so much growth via ecommerce, but also ended up discussing some really useful topics including how in-house teams can get more from their agency partners.

For those that don’t know Andertons, they also have a hugely successful and highly regarded YouTube channel. As a channel that I’ve been watching for many years it was fascinating to get a behind the scenes view and also hear about how critical content has been to the growth of their business and global reputation.

If you’re looking for some solid advice on how to improve your work in-house then take a listen. Thanks again Jack for imparting so much useful advice!

What this episode covers:

  • Jacks’ background and combination of agency vs. in-house experience
  • How brands and agencies need to work better
  • Key focus points of an in-house role at a growing ecommerce brand
  • The role of content in ecommerce

Enjoy!
