When it comes to performance marketing and creative; clearly the bottom line is finding ads that convert and drive sales.

In this episode I’m joined by Cat from our Paid Social team to talk about how to plan your ad creative and copy so that you are consistently and methodically driving your performance forwards.

For the first three months of this year we’re going to be focusing our podcast on tactics and strategies to help you improve ROAS, and one of the key elements to growing revenue is getting your creative just right.

When it comes to planning ads, one of the dangers is bypassing a focus on what’s going to sell in favour of shiny production value. Whilst there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the more creative aspect, it’s not always the shiny stuff that sells best.

The most important thing is testing. What works for someone else won’t necessarily work for you, and what you think will work isn’t what always ends up working. So you have to test, test and test some more!

On that note, a key part to our conversation is how to approach a methodical testing plan for your ads. Listen to the episode for a full run through of how we do this here at Overdrive, what we include in our testing plans and how we monitor progress moving forwards.

If you’re looking for a boost in performance then this is the episode for you!

What this episode covers:

  • The difference between great looking ads and ads that sell
  • How to monitor and optimise ads for improved conversions
  • Our approach to creative testing plans
  • Cat’s tip of the week!

Enjoy!
