Episode 43 – Scaling to £30m in revenue…in a pandemic

Author Jon Quinton 2 min read time

Imagine growing a business from its early stages to being on track for 30 million in revenue, in just over a year. Throw in a global pandemic and what you’re left with is a fascinating story!

In this episode I’m joined by Keiran Hewkin, Co-founder of Swyft who have achieved exactly this.

It would be very easy to view the above as a fortunate overnight success, however the reality is that the fast success of Swyft came off the back of some serious business hardship.

Rewind 12 months and their former business, a physical retail store in central London, was closing down and all the tough conversations that go with it were forced to happen virtually. Not fun.

What I love about this episode is how open Keiran is about their success, but also all the hard lessons that were learnt previously, without which Swyft would not have achieved half of what it has done.

What this episode covers:

  • Keiran’s background in business
  • Swyft’s insane growth
  • Lessons learnt through rapid growth
  • Challenges scaling manufacturing through a pandemic

This really is a brilliant story and I could have chatted for hours – I genuinely hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
